My, how you've grown! 13-year-old Malia Obama is now almost as tall as her father

The President may describe her as 'my baby', but 13-year-old Malia Obama is clearly growing up fast.
At a number of recent appearances at festive events, the teenager has cut an elegant figure, now standing almost as tall as her parents.
Malia, who was already 5ft 9in last year, seems to have had another growth spurt as she now matches her mother's 5ft 11in.
If she continues to grow, it won't be long before she catches up with her father, who is 6ft 1in tall.
But unlike many teens unused to their new height, Malia shows no trace of awkwardness or embarrassment. Instead, she seems to have embraced it, with smart, yet bang-on-trend, wardrobe choices. Indeed, she wears her height so well, it seems little sister Sasha is desperate to catch up.
President Obama admitted in an interview last year: 'Even though she's 5ft 9in, she's still my baby.
'And she just got braces, which is good, because she looks like a kid and she was getting ... she's starting to look too old for me.'
