Nicole Kidman's easy Pregnancy Thanks to Being Tall
If you were as focused on Nicole
Kidman's pregnancy as we were, you devoted tens of seconds of valuable brain
space to following it. We marveled (but not really) at how she remained so thin
for most of it. We were astounded (but not too much) by how she was able to even
get pregnant at her advanced age of 41. Well, now all is revealed -- by Kidman,
herself!
In an interview with The Australian Women's Weekly, Kidman speaks (frankly?)
about her pregnancy. "I'm so lucky I'm so tall, so I carried small,"
Kidman, who is reportedly 5'10" ½, says. "Also, I have to say, I had
a birth that I was blessed with, a labour that was very good and a baby that was
very good to me in that regard."
Kidman and hubs, Keith Urban, welcomed daughter Sunday in July.
The Botoxed, statuesque beauty also addressed the somewhat miraculous nature of
her pregnancy, admitting that she hadn't planned on getting pregnant at her age
-- especially considering she had suffered a miscarriage during her marriage to
ex-spouse Tom Cruise.
"I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but
it happened on this movie," she says, attributing the whole thing to, uh,
"fertility waters."
Kidman says that during production of upcoming film Australia, she and six other
women swam in the same water system and all got pregnant.
"Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy,"
she says. "There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we
all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters
now."
Um, okay?
And they say Tom Cruise was the crazy one.
